Based on the initial download, this font looks great. I love the holiday collection. The transparent typeface options are also a nice feature. I have it downloaded as a.otf file and (.ttf in the Fonts folder in the Adobe program. I have rendered it as Web Fonts for my clients, a.ttf, a.eot and a.woff file. I plan to purchase the full license.
I downloaded the otf files as well as the ttf files from ttf files from the Hoefler&Frere-Jones website. The asian, text and text g1 were all both ttf as well. Other then that the "Sans" was the only one that i could get the regular, bold and italic. text g1 was both ttf and otf. text gs was only otf. The text swashes and the text italic swashes and accents are the only ones that i can't get regular.
I didn't see the issue with the free font until I tried to make it embed. It won't even let me submit a form for me to embed it. The company just refuses to give out a code so that someone can take their font online and have people be able to put it on websites and the like. Using the free font online is SUPER annoying. d2c66b5586
